You can ask IRCC to withdraw or cancel your application at any point. There are some exceptions, such as if a misrepresentation investigation is underway. To obtain the withdrawal status you can obtain the GCMS notes or the Entire File either from IRCC or CBSA or from both IRCC & CBSA.

This risk can not be fully eliminated but it can be reduced by requesting the notes from IRCC and CBSA. This is the best option available as the processing of notes from any government agency can not be expedited.
